Village Home started a program to empower women in villages around Bangladesh that allowed them to earn three times the living wage through their production of handicrafts. The key component of the program enabled women to purchase homes and property in a short period of time while and gave access to microcredit loans in order to purchase the equipment needed to start their independent business. |
